Building a Server

Remember to install things one step at a time.

Then test each service.

Then check the log file to make sure it properly logging. Fix or deal with any problems.

Then document service and version that was added.

 

Baby steps..  Takes a little longer, but definatly help trouble shoot..

Install phpMyAdmin 3.3.2 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 server

Buy and Sell Cisco Network Gear. Install phpMyAdmin 3.3.2 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 server

 

1. Go to http://www.phpmyadmin.net and download the latest version. I got the phpMyAdmin-3.3.2-english.zip  file.

2. Copy to somewhere you'll remember and unzip it.

     Make sure that folder is accessible to your local web server.

Install phpMyAdmin 3.1.x on FreeBSD 7.1-REL

Prerequisites:   Get FreeBSD   FreeBSD 7.1-REL, Apache, PHP, MySQL.

phpMyAdmin is the right tool to use to manage your mysql databases.

This tutorial installs version 3.1.1
